Box Office: Avengers Infinity War created record with highest gross collection in India

Hollywood film ‘Avengers Infinity War’ has created a new record in India. It has beaten the highest grossing Hollywood movie ‘Jungle Book’ record. Marvel Studios produced the movie which is well known for producing Superhero films. The film was released on April 27 in more than 2000 screens in India running successfully. Movie also created a record by release in such number of screens in India.

In the first day of release movie has  collected about Rs.31.30 crores in all the Indian languages. It stood as the highest grossing all time record film in India for the year 2018. Film Analysts claimed that the movie has already collected total amount of Rs. 187.85 crore on Sunday (May 6) itself. Avengers Infinity War breaked the records of Jungle book which is highest grosser in India as of now with Rs. 187.65 crores.

The list of the five highest grossing films in the country on the first day for the year 2018
1. ‘Avengers Infinity’ – Rs 31.30 crores. (Including English, Dubbing versions)
2. ‘Baaghi 2’ – Rs 25.10 crores.
3. ‘Padmavati’ – Rs 19 crores.
4. ‘Padman’ – Rs.10.26 crores.
5. “Raid” – Rs.10.04 crores.

Avengers: Infinity War is a 2018 American superhero film based on the Marvel Comics superhero team the Avengers, produced by Marvel Studios and distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures. It is the sequel to 2012’s The Avengers and 2015’s Avengers: Age of Ultron, and the nineteenth film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). The film is directed by Anthony and Joe Russo, written by Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely, and features an ensemble cast including Robert Downey Jr., Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson, Benedict Cumberbatch, Don Cheadle, Tom Holland, Chadwick Boseman, Paul Bettany, Elizabeth Olsen, Anthony Mackie, Sebastian Stan, Danai Gurira, Letitia Wright, Dave Bautista, Zoe Saldana, Josh Brolin, and Chris Pratt. In Avengers: Infinity War, the Avengers and Guardians of the Galaxy attempt to stop Thanos from collecting the Infinity Stones.
